1. GPU
This card uses the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, based on the latest Ada Lovelace architecture. It’s currently the most powerful consumer-grade graphics card from NVIDIA.
2. CUDA Cores
It features 16,384 CUDA cores, providing extreme performance for gaming, 3D rendering, AI workloads, and ray tracing.
3. Clock Speed
Boost clock goes up to 2610 MHz (in MSI Center's Extreme Mode). In standard Gaming or Silent mode, it boosts up to 2595 MHz.
4. Memory
The card is equipped with 24 GB of GDDR6X video memory, running at 21 Gbps. It uses a 384-bit memory bus, delivering a bandwidth of approximately 1008 GB/s — excellent for high-resolution and high-load tasks.
5. Power Consumption
The total board power (TDP) is around 450 W. MSI recommends a power supply unit (PSU) of at least 850 W, though 1000 W is safer, especially with a high-end CPU or when overclocking.
6. Power Connectors
It uses a single 16-pin (12VHPWR) power connector. An adapter for 4 × 8-pin PCIe cables is typically included in the box.
